Diesel Brothers follows Heavy D, Diesel Dave and the team at Dieselsellerz as they build big, bad trucks, pull elaborate pranks and push the limits with new stunts. Diesel Brothers launched during Discovery’s “Motor Mondays” in January and in its first season, the show is pulling more than 2 million viewers per episode and is currently the network’s highest-rated new series in adult 25-54 in more than two years.

Fast N’ Loud is the most watched automotive related TV show in America. Fast N’ Loud follows the exploits of motor mastermind Richard Rawlings and mechanical prodigy, Aaron Kaufmann, who search the far flung corners of Texas and surrounding states for forgotten and derelict classic cars to buy and restore at their Gas Monkey Garage in Dallas, Texas. Fast N’ Loud has over 3 million followers on Facebook.

We installed an ACE 40″ x40″ Soda Blast Cabinet with 400 cfm Dust Collector in both the Gas Monkey Garage (Dallas, TX) and in Dieselsellerz (Woods Cross, UT).  These soda blasting cabinets were chosen to provide a way to clean various engine, transmission, suspension, drive train, and other component parts with the unique properties of the soda blasting processSoda blasting does not harm chrome, glass, seals or bearings, and does not change any surface or dimensional characteristics so critical in truck and automotive applications.  Also, soda blasting eliminates problems associated with media retention in hard to clean areas like threads and oil passages since soda residue simply dissolves in water.  Just ask anyone who has ruined an expensive engine due to a small piece of hidden blast media how important that is!

We also installed an ACE Model 4 Split Top (48″ x 24″) Sandblast Cabinet with 100 cfm Dust Collector in the Gas Monkey Garage for use with other more aggressive medias, like aluminum oxide and glass bead.  All of our Abrasive Blasting and Soda Blasting Cabinets feature all-welded construction using 11 and 14 gauge steel with cross braced legs for a work deck capacity of 2,000 lbs.!  Our equipment is known for its rugged construction, ease of use, simple maintenance, backed by the best customer service in the business.

Safety-Kleen  provides environmental services to both garages and was instrumental in spear heading these projects.  Armex provided the soda blast media for use in both garages.  We would like to extend our sincere thanks for all of their help.  Thank you!

Who We Are

ACE Automotive Cleaning Equipment is a leader in high quality, affordable, American made media blasting equipment. We have been making all types of media blasting equipment since 1976….sandblasting equipment, abrasive blasting equipment, soda blasting equipment, bead blasting equipment.

We originally started out primarily focused on automotive related users. And while still a large part of our business, we have continuously branched out to service many different types of customers, from mold and fire damage restoration companies to woodworkers, swimming pool cleaners, boat yards, construction companies, school districts, governmental agencies, equipment rebuilders, and many, many other customer groups; each one having its own set of unique challenges and requirements.

As a result, ACE has developed a highly knowledgeable and capable customer sales and support team, well experienced and helpful to customers on a very wide range of uses and applications. Using our problem solving capabilities, we have assisted customers on hundreds of different kinds of projects and jobs. Our straight forward approach to helping customers select the proper kind of equipment and media, has earned us a reputation as honest and sincere people to deal with. There are no used car salesmen or telemarketer types in our organization. We don’t oversell our products, tell lies about of our competition, or use high pressure sales tactics.

All of our equipment is made to function in an efficient and cost effective manner. We don’t use “bells and whistles” to increase the price of our equipment. Efficiency, cost effective purchase price, and low operating costs are our goals.

Our abrasive media blast cabinets are made out of 11 and 14 gauge steel with all welded construction. Our in-house powdercoating line produces a rugged, durable finish, which protects all of our equipment for many years. We use ASME certified pressure vessels on all of our direct pressure blasting equipment. Adjustable pressure regulators, foot pedal operation, hi-visibility florescent lighting, large viewing windows, and generous armholes make for an operator friendly and comfortable work experience, when using our ACE blast cabinets.

Our soda blasting equipment is used worldwide, and is recognized and well known as a reasonable cost alternative to other higher priced equipment, without sacrificing performance. Our ACE Model 2-PS Heavy Duty Portable Soda Blaster, for example, is the choice of many professional and do-it-yourself types around the world from Australia to Zimbabwe.

How can we sell such high quality equipment at affordable prices? It’s simple. We sell factory direct, without middleman markups. Our parent company sells the exact same equipment through many of the very large industrial supply companies with their standard markups and large overhead budgets for things like paid internet ads, large print catalogs, and brick and mortar retail stores. When you buy directly from ACE, you skip all of that.

Visit our website at www.ace-sandblasting.com or give us a call at 888-772-3263 to find out how we can help you solve your media blasting, abrasive blasting, or soda blasting needs. You’ll be glad that you did.

What is Media Blasting?

In recent years, the term “media blasting” has become very popular, primarily due to television shows and magazine articles. But what does it really mean?

The term “media” refers to any abrasive blasting material. The term “media blasting” refers to forcibly propelling a stream of abrasive blasting material, under pressure, against a surface in order to clean it in some manner. Both of these terms are very generic, and can mean many different things. There is no single “media”. There are many different types of media, each with specific properties, and specific pros and cons, depending on the application.

Some popular types of “media” include soda blast media, aluminum oxide, glass bead, crushed glass, walnut shell, corn cob, black beauty (coal slag), silicon carbide, plastic bead, steel shot, and others. Using any of these medias through an abrasive blaster is “media blasting”.

The term “sandblasting” has also been used in a similar manner, to encompass blasting a wide variety of various medias. (The use of actual silica sand as a blasting media is highly discouraged, due to the risk of developing silicosis, a serious lung disease.)

So basically, the terms “media blasting” and “sandblasting” have been used as catchall phrases to represent abrasive blasting in general.

ACE offers a full line of portable and cabinet style media blasting equipment to meet just about every kind of abrasive blasting need.
